Craving It

I have a few newsy bits & pieces to share as I start my new week! I kind of like these little miscellaneous posts for things that I don't feel like going all-out for.

1) One of the vintage stores in Bloomington closed its doors (sad) but they had a bunch of great deals and I took home a grocery sack full of stuff (yay)! Both of these items I probably would not have bought on a normal day but for a few bucks, who wouldn't want a huge colorful blouse and fun 80's shoes???

2) This weekend I went to a rollerskating rink with a bunch of friends and we had ridiculous amounts of fun. Although I've always dreamed of being a roller derby babe, I think it's more likely that I will become a sweet rollerskating disco dancer!! The uniform was Canadian formal so it was an awesome (coincidental) end to my denim+denim week on the blog!!



3) A few weeks ago I entered a giveaway at Happy Pretty Things, one of my favorite blogs, and I actually won! It was a necklace from Crave Jewelry and I just got the package. Everything was wrapped up so beautifully and the necklace was gorgeous!! Believe me, I was squealing for the next five minutes or so. I can't wait to wear it!! Also, can I just say... I loved the handwritten note (with my name on it!!) and the branding was absolutely wonderful!!

And get ready-- I'll be posting my first DIY this week and I'm super super super excited about it!!
